LCMHL Affiliation – Overview
The LCMHL has received HEO approval to use the Club System for affiliation.
Overview
The Club System for affiliation is a simple solution well suited for recreational hockey. It removes much of the overhead and formality of the 19‑Player System — it does not require exclusivity to a target team, nor does it require an affiliate to be rostered with the team.
The following sections provide an overview of the Club System.
Affiliation Limits
- A skater may affiliate up to a total of 15 meaningful games.
- This limit applies to LCMHL regular season and playoff games.
- It does not apply to exhibition games or tournaments.
- The 15 games may be across multiple affiliating teams.
- There is no limit on goalie affiliations.
Affiliation Eligibility
- Affiliation must follow the D4 affiliation chart.
- Affiliated players must belong to the same minor hockey association as the affiliating team.
Rostering and Exclusivity
- The affiliating player does not need to be rostered on the team affiliating them.
- This applies to LCMHL games only. Players must be rostered for exhibition games and tournaments.
- There is no exclusivity in the Club System.
- A player may affiliate with one team on Saturday and another team on Sunday.
TTM
- TTM has been configured for the Club System for LCMHL.
